Review: A Christmas Home

A big thank you to Novel Crossing for sending me this book for the holidays.

I tried something different this time. Usually I read the back of the book and then read the book, but sometimes you are left with spoilers. This time I read the back, but it was just an excerpt from the book. I didn’t read the inside flaps… which actually had the book summary. This all being said I didn’t know what I was getting into when reading this book.

It was a short, fast read. It is a novel on its own, but there is a previous book. I have not read it yet, and didn’t think I missed anything, except that it was written all over the book “from the author of A Dog Named Christmas”.

Anyway, this book was good. I think some character development was lacking, unless it is all in the first book. But it was a nice Christian Christmas story of loss, desperation, hope, and love.

4 out of 5 stars
