Is life not turning out the way you envisioned it? Are your temptations to great? Does your secretary becoming to appealing to you? Even the ministry has the same temptations you and I do. We are all human, we all have arguments. It’s how we react to life that makes us examples for Christ or just a sinful as the next person.
I envisioned myself as the minister’s wife in the book. I cannot even begin to count how many times I wanted to “divorce my husband” when I was reading this book. I cannot imagine what this world is coming to. Sixty years ago “divorce” was not even mentioned. Now it is so common practice, anytime some one mentions “trouble at home” people immediately are already thinking “divorce”. How do we stick it out and keep our Golden Anniversaries close in sight? Trust in God and let him be your light to your marriage, but remember we need God and cannot live our lives and marriages without Him in every minute of it. Can you do it?
